This guide is designed to help you format assignments and research papers in the various writing styles used at Mid-Plains Community College. Be sure to clarify which writing style to use with your instructor. Each tab above represents one of the writing styles and contains information on paper and citation formatting, as well as links to various helpful web sites and citation building programs.

These links will take you to citation guides designed by other colleges and universities. Be sure to choose the correct format (APA, MLA, Chicago) once you get to each site.

Citation Machines

The following web sites will build citations for you, based on the information you enter. Make sure to select the appropriate writing style once you get to each site. Please note that these sites may contain errors, so always check your work!
